What is a PPEC ?

A PPEC is a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care where the children from 0-21 yrs can assist if the child has a medical condition that requires a nursing care.  

What is the cost of your services?

If the child is covered by Medicaid, then it is 100% at no cost to the parents.  

Does your facility provide transportation? If so what is the transportation radius to pick up children?

We offer our private transportation to pick up and drop off our children in Miami Dade and Broward county. 

How many hours of nursing care will my child receive?

Your child is covered to receive nursing care up to 12hr in our facility. 

What diagnosis does my child need to qualify for a ppec service?

In order to qualify for PPEC Services your child needs a Diagnosis that requires ongoing nursing care essentially medically complex conditions like Epilepsy, Cerebral palsy, feeding Tube, muscular dystrophy, genetic disorders, spina bifida, neurological and gastrointestinal disorders cancer  or any condition that requires continuous nursing care. 

What is the enrollment process to start receiving services?

Contact the facility, schedule a tour, once the decision is made then you will complete necessary paperwork simply allowing us to request medical records and finally create a plan of care.
